Arroz Tapado Montado


  • 300 Gr of Ground Beef
  • 2 Cups of Grained White Rice
  • Vegetable cooking oil
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 Cup of Black Raisins
  • 2 Boiled Eggs
  • MARAS SALT SPECIAL DRESSING (200gr Pot) to taste
  • Parsley Leaves
  • 1 fried Plantain Bellaco
  • 1 fried egg


  • Cut the onion and tomato into small cubes, chop the parsley leaves and set aside, wash and moisturize the raisins by placing them in 1 cup of hot water.
  • In a pot, heat a splash of oil, add the onion, tomato and brown for 3 minutes
  • Add the ground beef, MARAS SALT, SPECIAL DRESSING to taste. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add the raisins and parsley. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • To plate, place 1/2 cup of cooked rice in a small bowl, then add 3 tablespoons of the filling, half a boiled egg, finally, cover with 1/2 cup more of cooked rice and flatten slightly. Unmold onto a lying plate.
  • Garnish with fried Plantain Bellaco, fried egg and finely chopped Parsley leaves.
